Reviews for Doubt: A Parable at Ocean State Theatre
"Caitlin Davies (Sister James) delivers the most refreshing performance as the enthusiastic and idealistic young teacher. She brings an infectious optimism to the play. While the play revolves around the epic battles between Sister Aloysius and Father Flynn, Davies gives the audience a truly redeeming character to cheer for.” - Mark Morin, Motif Magazine
"Caitlin Davies brings a tidal wave of emotion to Sister James. She is in nearly constant turmoil over what is happening to Father Flynn and the young boy and her faith and innocence are tested throughout the play... Davies creates a character who is truthfully sympathetic and relatable.” - Robert Barossi, Broadway World
"Caitlin Davies is the young Sister James. She loves teaching and her students and is very kind to them, often inviting Sister Aloysius’ anger and disapproval. There is an innocence and genuine charm to her openness and kindness. Davies handles it all with skill and finesse, delivering a convincing portrait.” - Richard Pacheco, Live Theater in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
